Kate Middleton has left Windsor Castle for the first time since undergoing planned abdominal surgery in January.
According to People, the Princess of Wales will spend time with her family at Prince William’s Sandringham Estate, known as Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.
Their three children, 10-year-old Prince George, 8-year-old Princess Charlotte, and 5-year-old Prince Louis, will join them during the school break, media reports said.
The Daily Mail also reported that Middleton, 42, has left Windsor and is “recovering well.”
“She was hoping for a change of scenery and will be content with it in Norfolk while the children ignore William,” the source said.
Kensington Palace announced on January 17 that Middleton underwent “successful” abdominal surgery and will remain in hospital for 10 to 14 days.
Although it was a planned operation, Middleton and Prince William, 41, are said to have kept their close family and advisers in the dark about it in an attempt to keep the matter private.
In an update on January 29, Kensington Palace announced that he had been released and was “progressing well”.
He left the London Clinic with his father-in-law, King Charles III, who was admitted to the same hospital to seek treatment for an enlarged prostate.

During the operation, the 75-year-old monarch was diagnosed with cancer, Buckingham Palace announced on Monday.
“He remains fully recovered from his treatment and hopes to return to public duties as soon as possible,” the statement said, maintaining a positive attitude about the disease.
It is not yet clear what type of cancer was found.
The discovery will delay King Charles’ duty to the public, but it is not known for how long.
The Princess of Wales is not expected to return to her normal duties until Easter, but a royal official told the UK’s Daily Express on February 1 that she had already started work “from “She was in her bed” at Adelaide Cottage at Windsor Castle.
